ACES-Erbil has started its operation in Kurdistan-Iraq in July 2013 and is now already involved in a number of major projects throughout the region. Site investigation works are currently underway for major road works in Erbil, Dohok and Sulaymanieh regions of Kurdistan. In addition, slope stability analysis for a road in Dohok and geotechnical studies for several dams are being carried out. Material testing and quality control services are currently being conducted for water conveyance project, Kempenski Hotel, and dams projects, among others. Numerous proposals has been issued in the past few months and the prospects are quite positive.

AL BAYATI Architects. Scope of Work: 54 Boreholes (15.0m & 30.0m Deep), trial pits and other field & lab testing.

ACES Abu Dhabi was recently awarded new major projects for Clients in the oilfield:• Geotechnical investigation and topographical survey for M/S Petrofac Intl LTD. in ADCO Habshan 1 Development and ADCO Bab Gas Compression Projects, Abu Dhabi Emirate. The project consists of drilling of 70 nos. boreholes, excavation of Trial Pits, various field tests like Cone Penetration Tests, Electrical Resistivity, Thermal Resistivity, Crosshole Testing, installation of Piezometers, in addition to various laboratory tests of encountered materials. Furthermore, ACES will perform survey and utility detection of wellheads, roads, pipelines and installation of survey benchmarks.

ACES Abu Dhabi is completing the works for the Survey of Zirku Bridges/Culverts, Buildings and Road Network, Study No. ZR/S/827 on Zirku Island for RW Armstrong. The project is jointly executed by ACES Abu Dhabi materials and survey departments. It includes visual Inspection and delamination survey for 24 Bridges, 30 Culverts and 126 Buildings in addition to concrete destructive testing for one of the bridges. Furthermore coring works and trial pits excavation with related soil testing are performed for the assessment of some asphalt roads within the island, as well as, topographical survey is carried out for bridges and culverts.
