ACES Amman took part in the World Accreditation Day on June 2014 under the sponsor of Jordan Standards & Metrology Organization- Jordanian Accreditation Unit and was represented by Eng. Naeemah Gezawi, ACES Amman Quality Manager. At the meeting , two certificates of recognition were awarded to ACES, one in recognition of Dr. Izz Eddin Katkhuda, ACES Partner & Director, for his long and continuous contribution to the National Accreditation Unit for it to be center of excellence locally, regionally and internationally and the other for ACES Amman for their efforts to obtain the National Accreditation since the Accreditation Unit was established.

Hydraulic Drilling Rigs with different capacities are being completely assembled in ACES Abu Dhabi and ACES Amman workshops. Many parts of the drilling rigs are being manufactured in ACES workshops other major genuine quality parts ( such as engines and hydraulic pumps) are being outsourced from manufactures in North America and Europe . The drilling rigs were designed and constructed to provide the best practical value to ACES operations for different ground conditions, local weather and ease of maintenance and operations . The rigs are mounted on brand new or like trucks . Image and additional features of the final product are crucial issues being considered in delivering the drilling rigs. Unique Control Panel and other features were purposely designed and constructed for efficient drilling processes and operations.

ACES Amman is conducting biweekly seminars where recently hired fresh graduates and interns are giving presentations on various topics including their university final year projects as well as other subjects learned during their work at ACES. These seminars are proving to be successful as they help to build self-confidence and develop presentation skills for the graduates, and serve as a place to share ideas amongst peers. The graduates are also introduced to various personnel within the organization from different departments, in which a better understanding of ACES culture is obtained.

ACES Erbil completed recently the site investigations works for two major projects in Tawke oilfield in Kurdistan. The first project was for a 43 km oil export pipeline whereas the second project comprises two 50m diameter oil tanks, water treatment facility, warehouse, and workshop, among others. In total 56 test pits were excavated and 23 boreholes were drilled in both projects with depths ranging from 10-60m. The field tests included plate bearing, electrical and thermal resistivity tests. The client/owner is Det Norske Oljeseleskap (DNO).

ACES Jeddah is pleased to announce to its valued customers the arrival of new computerized chemical testing machine (Shimadzu Optical Emission Spectrometer PDA-7000) to its equipment gallery. The chemical testing machine is manufactured by M/s. Shimadzu Corporation in Japan, and is used for chemical analysis of steel and iron, and can give percentation of 15 chemical elements in the tested materials (such asCarbon, Silicon, Phosphorous, Nicel and lieks) with assured high quality testing, robust and high accuracy.
