ACES Muscat has recently completed the geotechnical investigation for Omani Riviera Project in Yiti – Muscat, Oman. The proposed project comprises several units including community facilities, mix used buildings, residential complexes, resort and retail buildings.

ACES Muscat has started the geotechnical investigation for the Sohar Port – Southern Development Package1 in Oman. The package comprises of soil improvement at the top surface of the reclamation area, installation of revetment along the reclamation area and installation of scour protection along the outfall.

Mecca Municipality has recently adopted Superpave specifications for the maintenance and construction works for Mecca Roads. To explain to Mecca Municipality engineers, contractors and consultants the advantages of Superpave mix design and binder performance specifications and present ACES capabilities in performing Superpave testing and mix designs, ACES Jeddah, with the help of Large Size Projects Administration at Mecca Municipality, organized a presentation at Mecca Municipality entitled “Implementation of Superpave Binder and Mix Design Specifications for Mecca Roads”. The presentation was made by the Manager of the Regional Center for Pavement Studies and Evaluation, DR. Ibrahim Asi, and was attended by quite a number of municipality engineers and road construction contractors and consultants.

ACES Senior Employees Third Conference (ACES 2.0 – The Next Horizon) was held at the InterContinental Aqaba Resort and Wadi Rum from 10-12 May 2018. The conference participants included department, technical and operation managers from all ACES branches as well as the Corporate Headquarters (CH) officers, deputy CEOs, and Directors. The conference provided an invaluable opportunity for meeting, exchanging information, enhancing collaboration between branches, group bonding, entrenching ACES culture, and discussing technical, administrative, operational issues.
