ACES-Dubai Receives Representatives from the Jordanian Engineering Association (JEA)

ACES-Dubai received in May, 2007 representatives from the Jordanian Engineering Association (JEA) who came to Dubai to study the methods used in soil investigation for high rise buildings. Eng. Emad Al Sharif, the Resident Manager of ACES-Dubai, and the Head of Departments, welcomed the JEA representatives at their offices in Dubai, were they were given a full presentation regarding the various methods used in site investigation in high rise buildings including boreholes and their depths, specs, field tests (pressuremeters), geophysical studies, earth quake studies, instrumentation, and pile tests. Following the presentation, the JEA representatives were taken on a tour to a number of projects in the well known business bay where ACES-Dubai is carrying some tests. The JEA representatives were highly impressed with the kind of tests carried out by ACES-Dubai in this location and expressed their thanks for the support and efforts that was provided to them during their visit.
